Preliminary Flood Map Revisions for McFarland Boulevard East to Alberta Area

January 31, 2012 – The City of Tuscaloosa has released preliminary flood map revisions for Cribb’s Mill Creek Tributary 7. The maps indicate the proposed Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA) from Contemporary Drive at 15th Street eastward to the former location of Alberta Elementary School located at 2700 University Boulevard East.
Areas east of Kicker Road, including Alberta, are proposed to be completely removed from the SFHA. These results are subject to additional revision and final approval by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

December 27th, 2011 — The City of Tuscaloosa has preliminary flood map revisions for Cribb’s Mill Creek Tributary 1 in the area north of 15th Street near the Contemporary Mitsubishi site. These results are subject to additional revision and final approval by FEMA.

The City of Tuscaloosa has preliminary flood map revisions for the areas from 15th Street East at the Mike and Ed’s site southward to 19thStreet East below Forest Lake. These results are subject to additional revision and final approval by FEMA.
