Tuscaloosa, Ala. – As an initiative of Tuscaloosa Forward, the City of Tuscaloosa Storm Recovery Fund will be selling awareness bracelets and car magnets for $5 and $10, respectively, at the Tuscaloosa Water Department and Tuscaloosa Revenue Department to remind citizens of the positive progress the City has made since the April 27th, 2011 tornado.
The silicone houndstooth bracelets, featuring the Tuscaloosa Forward logo, come with an inspirational insert describing the resilient spirit of our citizens since the storm. The car magnets also feature the Tuscaloosa Forward logo and houndstooth awareness ribbon with an encouraging message of our City’s recovery.
A 15 percent discount will be awarded for purchasing 10 or more magnets and/or 20 or more bracelets. Both offices are open 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
